As one of the earliest established communities in North Carolina, Beaufort is steeped in history. The early settlers of the township built grand homes of longleaf pine along the waterfront. Due to the abundance of heart pine in the area, they used only the finest in their new homes. The Beaufort is our highest-grade heart pine flooring product, the choice of architects and interior designers. The product is graded by its high heartwood content and quarter sawn grain pattern. Beaufort is ideal for high-end flooring and is commonly found in elegant settings such as formal dining rooms, corporate boardrooms and art museums.
